Simple is best. Keep in mind that the person or people being photographed should be the focus of the image. Avoid strong or busy patterns. Clean lines, classic styles and solid colors photograph beautifully. A trendy look can be fun for some images. When photographing a group it is best that each person wears colors and styles that harmonize with each other, aim for unity and color coordination in the photograph. Blue jeans or khakis with solid shirts work well for groups.
